Who this site is for
It is aimed at owners of houses and flats who are considering an energy renovation, or who have been caught out by a high heating bill. It is not written for specialists - we aim for content that makes sense without any background in building physics, while citing our sources so you can check every claim yourself.
If you are at the very beginning and unsure where to start, we suggest this order: first use the calculator to see where your house stands today and which measures contribute most; then read the guidance on what to watch out for with your chosen measure and what subsidies currently apply; and if a question remains after that, write to us.
What you will find here
- An indicative calculation of annual consumption, energy class and heating costs for your house - before and after renovation, with the methodology published in full.
- Guidance on individual measures - heat pumps, facade and roof insulation, window replacement, solar power - including indicative costs and payback periods.
- Current Eko sklad subsidy terms, which we update whenever a new public call is published.
- A free answer to your question about your specific situation, independent of any contractor.
Everything here is free and requires no registration. We do not sell equipment, broker contractors or receive commissions - more about how we operate.
