We do not sell equipment, we do not broker contractors, and we are not affiliated with any supplier - which means we can answer your question without a commercial interest in the outcome.

Frequently asked questions
Is the advice really free?
Yes. The society operates on a non-profit basis and answers to questions sent through this form are free of charge. For an in-depth assessment of a specific building we will normally refer you to the ENSVET network, which provides free energy advice through offices across Slovenia under the auspices of Eko sklad.
Do you recommend specific contractors or brands?
No. We deliberately do not recommend individual companies, brands or equipment models, and we receive no commission from contractors. What we do is help you understand the technical parameters so you can compare quotations yourself.
Can you come and inspect the house?
We do not carry out site visits. Assessing a specific building requires an authorised energy adviser or an energy performance certificate assessor; our calculator and guidance are intended as a first orientation before such an inspection.
What happens to the data I enter in the form?
We receive your message by email and do not store it in any database. Inputs to the energy calculator are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to the server at all. The details are set out in our privacy policy.
How quickly do you reply?
Usually within two to three working days. When Eko sklad publishes a new public call the volume of questions rises and a reply may take a little longer.
